Abstract Running is one of the most popular sports worldwide motivating many non-athletic people to start new physical activities. But especially novice runners are at risk develop injuries as they tend run with prejudicial posture. Hence, there has been considerable research identify factors improving running performance. One these correct movement arms a swinging pendulum during running. Based on this knowledge ergonomically shaped handgrip elements were designed improve posture shoulder-arm complex The main objective study was validation actual effectiveness handgrips. In sense 25 adult, healthy persons without experience examined by motion capture analysis treadmill and use focus changes hand supination, shoulder abduction rotation. Flexion elbows shoulders not expected change thus, investigated an internal control. Significant found in reduction forearm pronation, abduction, rotation shoulder, resulting improved At same time, no significant elbow flexion flexion. Future studies needed investigate effects detected improvement arm other important parameters, such trunk stability, lower limbs, economy, injury. These should also compare competitive athletes, recreational runners, runners.
